What to look for: riding the curve

Teetering on the edge between waves and curls, 2c wavy hair sometimes feels hard to pin down. When you’re staring at hair texture chart after chart, do you point to wavy or curly? Like all type 2 hair, 2c hair is wavy, but that often feels like a technicality. Your S-bend hair is thick and the waves start at the roots. If you’ve ever been confused about whether your hair is wavy or curly, it’s likely you have the 2c hair type. The waves in your hair are super defined and look nothing like those “beach waves” you always read about.
