Not for my hair type
Review by Elizabeth L. on 12 Aug 2020 review stating Not for my hair type
I have wavy, fine hair. The Volumizing Foam creates "straw" hair. It's crunchy and if I put my fingers through it, becomes a frizzy mess. I much prefer the gel, which defines the curl while leaving it touchable

This product works in every climate, on wet hair, dry hair, it’s great for refreshes!! It works great alone, under gel, over gel...no other product on the market works as well as this foam does for my hair!! I repurchase again and again!!!

Use if you want your hair to fall out
Review by Kristin on 16 May 2020 review stating Use if you want your hair to fall out
These products are terrible! I could not figure out why my scalp hurt! It was so tender and it hurt to wear my hair up. I thought it was my shampoo and conditioner. Then...as I would comb my hair huge chunks of hair would just come right out. I did not put it all together until I discovered other stories of women who used the whole product line and they experience d the same but only 10x worse. Stay away from these products if u want to keep your curls and hair.

Response from DevaCurl
Hi, our products do not cause hair loss because they do not penetrate the scalp or affect the hair bulb. Hair loss is often related to excessive scalp irritation, medical conditions, or other stressors. For more information on hair loss, we encourage you to visit FactsAboutDevaCurl.com

Better as frizz control for thick hair
Review by Jill on 7 May 2020 review stating Better as frizz control for thick hair
I usually really like mousses, but this does nothing for my hair as a main styling product: I don’t get any real hold or definition in my lengths, and it feels dirty in my roots. However, I started applying it last to towel-dried hair, and my frizz is essentially gone! I’ll use my cream and gel in the shower, and let it chill in my towel for a while; then before I start diffusing, I scrunch a few pumps into my damp hair, avoiding the immediate root area. It’s a light enough product that there’s no crunch or heaviness sitting on my hair. Can’t tell if it helps with volume since I have a lot of volume anyway. For reference, I have mostly 2c with some 2b and 3a/b thrown in, thick, dense, medium-course texture.
