I found Jennifer through a friend at work, thecurlgirl.com and had a great expierence and awesome cut!! she took the time to show me how to style my hair at home and i've had so many complements! i am leving this review here because it was actually brought to my attention that anyone can leave an unverified review on this website - deva doesn't confirm that the reviewers have even had a cut with her and it's very easy for either competitors or clients she turned away for not following her guidelines to leave false negative reviews. i know this because i am moving out of state and i asked if i should check this site to find another stylist. i read the most recent one start review she had and we both laughed because she doesnt even have an assistant and hasnt for almost 2 years. also, i had to send her a picture of my curls before she would even book me, and i had to show up with my hair freshly washed and styled. i didn't mind this because i knew that she was doing all of this for good reason. she WILL turn people away if they arrive late or if they show up with dirty hair in a bun but it is basically impossible to end up with an appointment with her without undertanding all of that. when i asked her why she even let devachan keep her listing on the site if it allowed unverified reviews she said she has asked them more than once to remove her listing and they have refused. i'm VERY curious to see if they will post this full review.
