Miss Ehrin did her thing today!! she helped me understand my hair more and answered all of my questions. she was professional and kind and i felt comfortable with her. she gave me tips on how to keep my curls intact and give it maximum definition! As for my hair, I came in with an idea of making my hair just one color all over.. After we consulted on my hair she gave an idea to give my hair layers of color and I loved that idea and we went with it and I was not disappointed! I wish I could attach pictures to show off how it looks now! I have never been so in love with my curls before so I just want to say thank you again Miss Ehrin!!

Miss Ehrin is a gift from god. She turned my limp and tired curls into a work of art. She brought them back to life. I’ve never loved my hair as much as I do now, because of miss Ehrin. She taught me how to care for my curly hair, she walked over all the steps and made sure I understood them. She answered any questions I had, and was just an all around good time. She did the devacut and added some foils, I couldn’t thank her enough. I’m confident in wearing my natural curly hair now.

I’m not sure how you can go wrong with a wash & go but she did. My texture was nothing like it’s natural state, it was extremely stringy which was weird because I’ve never seen my hair like that. When it came to the deva cut my hair was already in a stretched out state and she cut way more than I told her to along with cutting my hair very uneven. Overall horrible experience. She even stated that the deva curl certification was easy to get and anyone can get one... while she is cutting my hair. That’s when I knew my hair was done for.

I normally don’t write reviews but this was a tragic experience. I had booked an appointment with Ehrin to get a partial balayage and a deva cut. I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted and she took probably two seconds to look at it and didn’t refer back to the picture again. I also mentioned that I wanted a very natural grown outlook and didn’t receive either of those things. When it came to the deva cut I told her I didn’t want a lot off just a mild shape and preserve the length. When she is finished I look in the mirror and I barely saw any color in my hair and the shape wasn’t horrible... at the time. I left the salon and by the time I got home the highlighted parts of my hair had turned from a faint chocolate brown to a bright copper penny orange. To top it all off the placement of the highlights were not natural looking at all, they were huge chucks especially towards the back. I texted her explaining the issue and at first she said ok well I’ll get you in next week. For 1 I was going on a trip so I couldn’t wait until next week and 2 I have orange highlights in my hair from her horrible dye job and she had no sense of urgency to correct the issue. I told her my circumstances and I was able to get it “fixed” the next day. I come in the next day and I tell her the highlights weren’t anything like the reference picture, just big chunks of color. I told her I would like to just go over this with a dark brown (my natural hair color) because I wasn’t happy with the placement. When she is all done I look in the mirror and my hair is jet black. I’m extremely frustrated at this point there is nothing I can do about it so I left after my hair dried. I get home to restyle my hair bc all she put in my hair was some gel... I have 4a curly hair... my hair is on the dryer side (she even told me that herself) and all she used was gel. So my hair is extremely dry especially after the color. To make it alll worse when I’m styling my hair I notice my hair is extremely uneven. Chunks of hair really short and other pieces really long and looked even worse once I dried it. Being someone that was on a natural hair journey and was growing my hair out this really made me upset because all the hard work of me taking care of my hair just gone. It took me 1 year to finally grow my hair to an even length. Moral of the story, don’t go to Ehrin if you are looking for highlights or deva cut.
