I had a great first experience at the salon. Christopher is extremely knowledgeable and nonjudgmental. He truly wants what’s best for the client and went to great lengths to make sure he understood my likes and dislikes. I love how Christopher’s main goal is to make his clients feel encouraged to have a style that fits their personal lifestyle. He shared his knowledge about products in a way that made me feel empowered vs pressured to buy what he was selling. Christopher is very invested in his business and stays up to date on current trends in styles and products. Loved my cut, but the main reason I’ll be going back is because I want to support a local business owner that is humble, knowledgeable, and has his customers best interest in mind.

Christopher is a truly talented, knowledgeable professional and my time at the salon was luxurious! He took time to talk with me about my curly hair struggles. He understood what I was looking for in my cut, and he made me feel very comfortable. He told me what he was doing, every step of the way - and why, teaching me all kinds of things about my hair, products, and techniques. He warned me that it was going to be information overload, and he was right. But, he also reassured me that I could get good results at home keeping it simple. He did mention Renee Furterer products but DID NOT at all push to sell them. And, he gave me some samples which was so kind. He actually suggested that I use up the products I have at home, but just in different ways. The entire 2 hour appointment was 2 hours of being pampered and cared for. The salon, by the way, is absolutely gorgeous. So glad that Pittsburgh has such a talented hairstylist with a passion for us curlies! We so lucky! Worth every penny!
