I was kind of relieved to finally have a professional curly stylist in the area and it was okay. However, I could feel and hear her ripping my hair apart because my hair is a kinky texture. I really didn’t like that. I am pretty gentle when separating my hair and I expect for my stylist to do the same. Especially one that specializes in curly hair. Her pictures on IG are excellent and I like her social media presence. Unfortunately, I was a little let down. I probably won’t return, but maybe she was just having an off day. I gave 3 stars instead of 1 because she did give me a nice trim.

I first visited Charnelle in February 2019, after a friend had received a DevaCut from her. I had big chopped my hair in June 2018, and had never received a trim. I went to her to have a true Devacut/trim to eliminate some of my frizz. Charnelle was amazing! Extremely pleasant, kind, and knowledgeable. I fully trust hair with my natural hair journey! She is booked months in advance because that's how awesome she is! I have my second appointment for a trim in August :)

I have been wearing my hair naturally curly for two years & haven’t been totally satisfied with the shape of my hair. I told Charnelle what I wanted & that’s exactly what I got. Honestly I was a little concerned with the amount she cut off BUT I absolutely LOVE my cut!! You will not regret going to her for your Deva cut & style.
