When my sister learned how to start “doing” her curls at the age of 33, Suellen was the stylist she discovered. After I saw the hair transformation she performed, I knew I had to see her, too. I was in from out-of-town and came in very nervous; I knew that getting a Devacut meant giving up wearing my hair straight. I prayed for more volume, softness, less frizz, and more symmetry. Suellen gave me the cut today and I can’t stop flipping my head- my hair feels so light, bouncy, and I didn’t know my waves were capable of this! I was so excited that after the appointment, we danced Samba together behind the salon and took photos. She was just a pleased as I was. I have never left a salon feeling more confident or that the stylist knew more about my hair than I did.

I'm a wavy, which can sometimes be really hard to work with and I was even tempted to quit curly girl method, but I follow a lot of curly girls on ig and found Suellen through that and I loved her work so much. I did my big chop and was suffering from postpartum hair loss. She completely transformed my hair. She cut it in a shape that hid all my thin spots, and she explained every step of the way how to make sure my hair was not over moisturized, how to properly apply my products, which products were right for my hair type, what my hair type was, how to protect the curls at night, and how to eliminate the frizz I couldn't seem to beat. When I had my first wash day after my cut, it looked amazing. I normally can never do it as well as a stylist but she'd taught me so much! I already have my next appointment scheduled. ❤️
