Scott is amazing! I used to be frustrated with my curls and considered them something I had to "deal" with - I don't feel that way anymore! Scott cuts curly hair dry with amazing skill and technique. He gave me great layers that complement my curl type and length. Above the great cut, he taught me his MAP Method of product application which has allowed me to fully embrace my curls! I am so happy to have learned of him when I moved to the Triangle. I love my hair now and can't thank Scott enough for his help!!

Scott is an amazing artist! I was so frustrated with my hair these days - I'm getting some gray and it seems to be changing and I just felt frizzy and dowdy and ugh. Scott gave it new life! Here's what happens when you walk into his salon -- he listens! He wants to know about you and your hair. He made me feel great from the moment I walked in. He cut it curl by curl, turning it this way and that, even upside down, to make sure it was right from top to bottom and all over. I have _never_ had a stylist take that kind of care with this thick mop. Then he cleansed it, making sure I got my hands into it so I could tell just what it should feel like. Finally, he taught me how to handle it and apply products, talking me through doing it myself and making sure it was all written down for me. I left completely confident that I could make it look this good at home. And WOW! I had no idea my hair was this curly!!! It looks AMAZING. Gorgeous! And it's not stiff or sticky or anything. I had to run some errands on the way home and I was really bummed because it was windy. I was afraid it would be a mess again before my husband even got to see it. I got back in the car and anxiously peered in the mirror. It was a little tousled, but it wasn't a bit frizzy -- it was adorable! Whew. My family was amazed at how curly it was when I got home. I know it seems expensive, but Scott is SO worth it. Just go, for crying out loud! He's not one of these guys that does something you can never repeat at home so you have to keep coming back all the time. He makes it so you can handle your hair on your own, just returning a couple of times a year. With my life as an author and speaker traveling all over the place, that's essential. Best of all is that Scott is a super-nice guy. He was fun to talk to and really seemed to enjoy working with my hair -- you know how rare an experience that is for a curly girl at any salon! Scott Musgrave is simply the very best at curly cuts and you will be so glad you put yourself in his hands!

Scott has been cutting my hair for 4 years. He is a curl master, curl guru, & my own “Curl Whisperer”. He always gives me a great cut, along with good conversation, followed by amazing curl tips. Besides being a curl professional, Scott founded Curl Artistry, a company that teaches curly hair stylists the art, methods/techniques and business of all types of wavy & curly hair. Scott also offers an online instructional course that teaches us curly girls his method of styling & embracing our curls. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Scott. Scott is kind, patient, genuine, intelligent and helpful. I have struggled with my curly hair for my entire life. It had gotten to the point where it was just a burden and I was wearing it up every single day. I absolutely hated my hair, I felt as if I always looked ‘unkempt’ and I often ended up in tears when trying to style and tame my hair. When I saw Scott, he reassured me that my hair would look entirely different by the end of the appointment and I have to say, I didn’t believe him. But after a two hour session, my hair was BEAUTIFUL! My hair didn’t even look like my hair anymore. It was so soft, the curls were so defined and there was little to no frizz. I’m telling you, Scott is a miracle worker. I had a few questions about products after my appointment so I texted him and he was more than willing to answer my questions. The personalized method he taught me has given ‘new life’ to my hair and given me a confidence I’ve never had before. What’s even better - I’ve made a new friend!
