I waited a week to write my review to see how I felt about my new Deva Cut after washing and styling it myself a couple of times. Not only did I leave the salon loving my first-time Deva Cut, but it looks great when I wash and style it myself. I will definitely go back to Sara. I was nervous since this was my first Deva Cut, but my hair looks great. It's cut the way it needed to be cut to maximize my curls and nicely frame my face. The end result is as good as I had hoped it would be. She listened to my concerns and questions. She explained everything I needed to know about styling methods and products. She gave me lots of great tips. It was overall a 10/10 experience. The salon is very nice too--lots of parking, really nice receptionist, and a Starbucks right there.
After moving from my home town to Portland, I was in search of a new stylist who really understood curly hair. My search was quickly over as I found Sara who gave me a wonderful hair cut. She understands curly hair so well and gave me exactly what I wanted.

This was my first deva cut and Sara was great. She listened to my needs (I am as low maintenance as I can get) and gave me a terrific cut that would not need a lot of time each morning. She also gave me tons of little tips to make my hair not only healthy, but look great too.

Sara really took the time to understand what my hair needed, and we went through what I'd do at home to get the same look as at the salon. Overall a great experience! Sara is very sweet and good at listening. She'll help us wavy haired gals find our beachy curl dreams!
