I came to Samantha with dead, dry, embarrassing, fried, I cannot believe I was going outside with this hair. I was so nervous to finally get a proper haircut for my curls that I put off booking it for a long time but finally took the plunge and Samantha killed it. She educated me on proper hair care and worked her magic on my hair. I haven’t straightened it in 4 months and I used to straighten my hair every week. All that to say, Samantha is a queen.

My appointment with Samantha this afternoon was much needed! I’d never had a proper professional haircut before (let alone a Deva cut!), and Samantha was very knowledgeable and patient in explaining how to care for my hair texture. She was open to input and questions while she washed/styled my hair— which she let me watch using a mirror so I could recreate the look at home. I definitely recommend Samantha at Bristle & Prim!

I have been struggling with being natural and finding someone that understood African American hair for years. During my appointment with Samantha, she took her time explaining how to use the products and how to recreate the look at home. She was so helpful, and really listen to my needs.
