I had really high hopes for this appointment. When I sat down, Paula did not spend any time asking me about my curly experience, when I started CGM, anything about what I have used, or what I am hoping for with my hair. She cut my hair but I was hoping for some layers for added volume and she didn't really give me that. She dyed my hair and then proceeded to wash the dye out with a shampoo that contained sulfates and silicones. She didn't even tell me she was doing that, I had to find that out on my own. Now I have to re-clarify my hair to remove the silicones she used. She spent almost no time with me on styling. I told her that my hair prefers cream products under gels to help define my curls and she did not use one of the deva products under the gel and then when my hair fell completely flat, she acknowledged that she should have added one of those products to my hair like I asked. The appointment felt rushed because she had another client there at the same time and was in the middle of dying her hair while trying to style mine. Completely disappointing.
