Meghan was so amazing and informative! I have recently started my natural hair journey and had no idea what to use or how to go about styling my hair. She was able to explain everything to me as well as show me how to do it at home so that I was able to control my frizz. I have long hair and I wanted to keep it long as well and she listened to me and only took off what was necessary. She gave me layers to add volume and I left with these healthy, bouncy curls that I am obsessed with. The routine she gave me was so easy for me to do at home as well. Highly recommend her!

I'm almost 31 years old. And up until very recently I have always had my hair blown out by stylists and have been blowing/straightening my hair. I met Meghan and she has taught me to embrace and love my hair texture. She did the deva cut and educated me on how to care for my curls. I've been using the Low Poo and wave maker. She also taught me how to protect my hair in a scarf while I sleep. My hair is the curliest and healthiest it's ever been. The volume is amazing and I absolutely love my curls now! I'm so thankful to have someone who finally wanted to teach me how to properly care for my hair! Meghan is not only very talented but very fun and sweet as well.

Meghan gave me the best haircut I have ever had. My hair had become long, dull, and lifeless. I have been searching for someone who understood curly hair and Meghan does. My curls are back and my hair feel healthy and happy. This is just my first cut and it is by far the best haircut ever. She took time to talk to me and listened to what I wanted and she helped me accomplish my goal. I live about 30 minutes away and I will be going back for all my hair needs. Meghan is the best. I went in hoping for a cut that would help enhance my curls and make me fall even more in love with my hair.. That didn't end up happening. The first thing that came out of my mouth before any cutting even started was that I'm in love with my length and I'm not trying to lose it, (as it was 4.5 years of growth). She reassured me that she wasn't a "cut happy" stylist and we'd just be chopping off the straight ends.. My hair wasn't cooperating very well that day and I told her that. If I knew then that my untamed hair was going to be an issue getting my hair cut, my appointment age have been rescheduled. Meghan is a great person and very sweet but my hair cut was far from great. When I got home and I realized that my hair went from being in the middle of my back to a little past my shoulders, I cried. I wasn't excepting to lose that much in length.. I also gave it a couple days to see if my hair would settle and even tried styling it a couple different ways with the same products I normally use, but no matter what I did it didn't look good. Neither side of my hair was even. (There were parts of my right side that were longer than my left, and vice versa) I had longer strands that were layered over shorter strands. The layers she gave me didn't even blend into one another. They were just hacked layers and I still had some straight ends, which is what I was hoping to get rid of from the beginning. When I explained this to her, I was told "The deva cut isn't a "even on both sides" kind of cut. It's all about shape and seeing where the different curls lie at the time of the cut. I know you mentioned your curls weren't behaving that day and maybe we didn't get a good cut because of that" Needless to say my mom helped me fix my hair and even it out. *Before my mom fixed it, the right side of my hair was 1 inch longer than the left.. You can guarantee I will not be getting a haircut EVER again. Especially not a "deva cut."
