Got my first DevaCut from Maria, and my curls have never looked better! She walked me step by step through the process as she did the DevaCut, and showed me how to use the products to achieve the look I was aiming for. Her patient tutorial--which was much clearer than what I read in the "Curly Girl" book or online--was as valuable as the haircut. She was patient, careful, and did not rush. I highly recommend.!
I went to Maria for a new hair style because my curls were looking pretty low and heavy. Maria gave me an amazing cut and used the great Deva products. Now my curls have a new bounce!!

Maria was really nice and courteous but this is one of the worst “deva cuts” I’ve ever gotten. She started by untangling my very curly hair before cutting it. She basically turned my hair into a gigantic POUF and cut it like that..which defies the point of a deva cut where they typically cut your hair curl by curl. Do not go there if you have actual curly hair and don’t want it to be yanked on while completely dry.. definitely not worth the hefty $85. I just want to save someone’s curls from this poor treatment.
