For several years I had heard great things about Luvena, but since I moved about an hour away from New Haven had not brought myself to book. So glad I finally did!!! She was able to bring life to my Latin curls without impacting the length. I also requested an auburn color and she nailed it! I highly recommend Luvena.

For years, I looked for a salon that specialized in curly hair. I was unsuccessful until two curly-haired friends recommended Luvena. At first I was skeptical because it was almost too good to be true, you know? I never heard of a salon that caters to curls and is knowledgeable about curls so I decided to do my research. I looked on Luvena's website, Facebook, and Instagram to see the work she has done and I was beyond impressed. I made my appointment right away and went! The service was wonderful and I cannot thank Luvena enough for making me embrace my curls. I have never loved my curls more than after that appointment. I felt like tearing up (not joking) because she made every single curl POP. I now know that my curls are BEAUTIFUL, something I would not have realized without Luvena's help. I will definitely be back and back and back!

After having two kids, I’ve been struggling to get my curls back. I’ve researched many salons and decided to try Luvena’s. She took her time to get know my curl crisis. She did an AMAZING job. She did not push any products but did answer all my questions. My curls have not looked this good in years. I HIGHLY recommend her!

I called the salon very last minute hoping to get in that same day, and Luvena was able to squeeze me in for her last appointment of the day. Everyone at the salon is very personable and my cut was exactly what I wanted. I plan on bringing my daughter in with me next time!
