Absolutely LOVE this woman! I am a 56 year old curly hair girl. I had the pleasure of having Lois cut my hair yesterday and in all my years of getting my curly hair cut I have NEVER walked out of a salon totally satisfied. She was so attentive and ask so many questions about me and my lifestyle as well as analyzing my hair and what would work best. I explained to her that I was in menopause and my hair did not grow as quickly as it has in my more youthful years. Being respectful of that fact she did NOT cut a lot of my hair off! An issue I typically have with stylists; they cut and cut and cut and I walk out with shorter hair than I ever wanted which at this point in my life I cannot afford. YOU NEED TO GO TO LOIS!!!!!

Lois has been my hair stylist for 5 years and I’m so happy to have found her. I’d not had luck with previous stylists and my curls but Lois was able to really give them shape. It’s the perfect cut for me. She’s got a great eye and is so talented - she makes it seem effortless. On my first visit, she asked the right questions to really understand what I was looking for. An added bonus is the convenience that I can see her at Vasken when I’m home in Westchester, or at James Corbett Salon when at work in the city.

This is the second time Loïs cut my hair, the first time was at Devachan 3 years ago. I’m from Belgium so when i got back to the states I knew I wanted to get my hair done by her since the first time was so great. I love how caring and kind she is. She really takes pride in her work and takes the time for a consultation, asks the right questions and you just feel at ease in her chair. Loïs takes the time to cut and style your curly hair and when I walk out of the door, I gained so much knowledge and tips and tricks. Every stylist at Edris is so talented and friendly and I felt really welcome. This experience is the highlight of my trip to the states!
