I went in for a 'curly girl' haircut with a pretty simple concept in mind, longer in the front, shorter in the back, a little stack...I provided an image of just that. I thought it looked ok at the saloon, but once I got home and washed it I found that she had made the shape of my hair on both sides of my head look like a triangle and the hair in the front was shorter than the back. I don't understand how that happens, it was so simple. There are peices on the sides that are awkwardly longer than the rest of the hair. (the 'points' to the triangles I was talking about.) The whole thing just looks uneven. At least she didn't make it so short that I can't hide it in a pony tail. looks like that's what i'll be rocking till the end of time since nobody can seem to give me a descent haircut. also, this place is too expensive. Now I'll have to pay someone else to try and fix this. I feel ugly :(

Laurie was amazing with my hair. It usually takes a day or 5 to get used to a new cut but I was extremely happy with the results right out of the chair.

I went in for my first deva cut and let me tell you, I feel so much better about my hair and myself. I have always struggled with my curls, and started the curly girl method back in November. I needed a big chop, so I had Laurie cut about 10 inches off. She went over the steps and the products with me. I knew a lot of things but I did pick up a few different techniques. Well, I'm on day 2 and I live it still. Thank you Laurie, I feel amazing.

Laurie has cut my hair a couple times. My first visit, she kindly walked me through every step, explaining what she was doing and how I could replicate my final look at home. She listens to what I wanted and helped me learn. Thanks for my awesome hair!
