I have never really known what to do with my curls and thought my hair couldn't decide what texture to be. Turns out they are so much springier and more wonderful than I could have ever expected! Lauren Chase is a total curl whisperer. First of all, LC is extremely personable and fun to talk to. She also took me step by step through the entire process- the dry cut, the shampoo, and the styling. She told me what she was doing and why. LC understood where I was coming from as a beginner and walked me through every part of the styling process in a way that made me not only understand, but also feel like I could emulate it at home. Not just how to scrunch with gel, but how to condition, detangle, dry, zhuzh, and even sleep in my hair to give it its maximum curl potential and longevity! Seriously, this woman is amazing. Lauren was absolutely amazing. I have always had the worst anxiety before getting my hair done (3B biracial curls). She was confident and I could tell she knew exactly what she was doing from the get-go. She also did a awesome balayage on my hair and it turned out PERFECT. I have had my hair colored before and was nervous because before it did not turn out so well and she made my hair gorgeous. Exactly what I wanted. I will be returning to her in the future. I reccommened her to all my curly hair friends immediately after. She was also great about informing about everything she was doing to my hair so I wasn't left in the dark. THANK YOU LAUREN!

I received not just a fantastic haircut, but Lauren Shoaf also walked me through every step of properly caring for my curls. I loved the fact that she took time to talk through the cleansing and styling process as she cut, cleansed, and conditioned my curls. The products are amazing, and my hair is so much healthier already!
