When I first went to Kristy I had bleach damaged from another stylist who didn't understand curls. I wore my hair in it's natural state 90% of the time so the damaged was heart breaking. Kristy help me love my curls again and as of today it's going on two years and I have not touched a flat iron. In her consultations she listens and ask you questions each and ever visit. If you become a regular she is the same on ever visit. She explained to my with my hair type (3 and 4) she has to cut curl by curl and no one has ever done that before. As she say "shape is life" and it's true the shape of your hair brings it to life even if you are still working through your damage. When you sit in her chair no other client exist in that time you have with her. Your hair will come out hydrated and she will educate you on products that works best for your hair type and how important water is to maintain that hydration which is key. I highly recommended Kristy you want be disappointed

Kristy was God sent!!!! I was not natural that long before I found her, but I was ready to throw in the towel and give up on the whole process. When I walked into her shop I was greeted warmly and was catered to throughout the entire visit! She is very knowledgeable about all natural hair types and the care required to maintain it. She explains everything step by step, shows you what she is doing, and answers all question that you may have. She truly wants to see her clients have healthy hair and love the hair that God has blessed them with. I have recommended her to several of friends and will continue to do so!!

Kristy is AMAZING! To start off each visit is so fun! She is super nice and so fun to talk to and so knowledgable! You can really tell she is ALL about curls and passionate about getting your hair as healthy and beautiful as possible. No matter what you are looking to do with your hair Kristy knows exactly how to get you there with no hesitation. She always asks me what are my goals with my hair which lately has been length and volume. She was able to give me the cutest cut ever to make my hair feel less weighed down and give me the volume i was looking for. At the end of your appointment you will have a beautifuly styled curly haircut, recommendations of products that fit your hairs needs and knowledge on how to use them. She is the best thing that has ever happend for my head of curls!

My appointment with Kristy was hands down the best hair appointment I've ever had! I went into the appointment searching for someone to teach me how to manage my dry hair. Not only did she give me product suggestions, she explained all the "natural hair lingo" you hear, she taught me the correct way to apply products to my hair for the best results and she corrected the haircut I recently got (at another salon) and gave me the perfect edgy Deva cut! Her attention to detail and true passion for educating her clients left me completely confident in my ability to manage my natural hair. Most importantly, I left her chair more confident in my natural curl pattern and no longer felt the need to alter my pattern so that it "look better." I highly recommend her!!!
