When I moved to Helena it took me 3 years to transfer my final professional service from Missoula: my stylist. I had three cuts in Helena with folks that made me feel I had to “fix” my cut when I got home and one that had absolutely no idea what she was doing with curly hair. When Kim was recommended, my first cut felt like a trial. It went well, but the next day washing and styling was my test. It was perfect. I’ve been a repeat customer for two years and recommend her to my curly hair friends. She has not only exceptionally cut my hair every time, but has gone above and beyond to meet my work schedule in appointment times. Accommodating, exceptional customer service. I won’t go back to a “normal cut”.

I had a level 3 stylist when I lived in Florida, so I know what a Deva stylist can truly accomplish and I had hopes of finding a "decent" if not comparable Deva stylist in Montana. Nope...sorry....not even close. Kim "cut" my hair dry but not curl by curl as I know Deva stylist are trained and she also ended up cutting too much off of my length to try to "fix" areas that were not looking right in the mirror. Nice girl....bad Deva stylist.....inexperienced?????

I can NOT believe that you are so disappointed with a Deva cut from Kim. Your review blows me away!!! I have had Kim doing my hair for over 10 years and I had always hated my curly hair BEFORE Kim did the Deva cut. Now I LOVE my curly hair!!! So that is why I am quite perplexed with your review. And it makes me wonder a few things...#1 - Are you using the Deva products? I honestly feel that if you get a Deva haircut - you should also use their products - - - or else your Deva cut is not going to look right. #2 - who else did you show your 'botched' pictures to? I would love to be able to follow that conversation and see what you are calling "botched". #3- Kim has always been very gracious in accommodating me when I have asked her to...so I can't believe that she would not have been the same with you when you brought your concerns to her. It is so disappointing when I see someone give such a low rating before they try to remedy the situation. I know for a fact that Kim is a certified Diva cut stylist and she is amazing with curly hair. If I didn't believe this completely - - I would never refer my friends to her (or keep going to her all of these years!) Kim is truly an amazing Diva Cut Stylist!
