I have fine swavy hair and wanted more definition to my waves. The cut Julie gave me was too layered. I have pieces on top of my head that are under two inches long and stick out oddly and don't blend with the rest of my hair. The hair on my left side, whole waves were cut away and now my hair looks thinner, a whole section of hair, gone! I also got pintura highlights that turned out more like overall color. The color I can handle but the cut is so bad, I am so upset about. Then to add insult to injury I was told by the salon on their Google review page "Because your hair is extremely thin and fine you may wish to reconsider getting a layered hair cut like the devacurl in the future." If Julie thought my hair was not the right texture to benefit from a devacut then I wish she would have told me that before cutting my hair.
