Ohmygosh! I honestly was soooo uninformed on my hair before visiting Jenea. I have been using her only on my hair for about a year now, and I don't plan on going anywhere else! When I found her online through a curly-haired specialist search, I had no idea the education and tips I would ALSO get in addition to a beautiful cut she did for me. The entire time she was bubbly and educating me on my hair and proudly answered my many many MANY questions about it. Knowing that my stylist knew not only how to "cut" but also HOW curly hair works and to have taken courses on curly hair specifically, what products to use to really give my hair life and just the extra tips she thoroughly gave me, really made me instantly comfortable that Jenea knew what she was doing. I HIGHLY suggest anyone who is tired of having their hair up all the time because of the crazy frizz of the unpredictable curl, to really consider checking her out. Jenea is amazing!! She really knows curly hair. I came to her with hair that was a dry puffy ball of frizz and she took the time to really asses my hair and figure what we were working with. She asked me questions about the products I used and my regular routine. After a detailed conversation she was able to pin point what was causing the damage and how we can fix it. Then as she cut my hair she advised me on the products I should be using, and what to stay away from. she was diligent in teaching my proper techniques to reduce frizz and breakage while properly styling my hair to get the look I want. My hair cut turned out fabulous! She was able to add layer and get rid of dead ends and really breathe new life into my curls. I always go back to her for all my hair cuts and I feel like every hairt cut is better then the last because she closely studies how my hair reacts to everything she does and that attention to detail makes her the best!! She is super friendly and easy to talk to and I will continue coming back to her!!
