After spending months recovering from perhaps the most awful cut & color of my life, I, by miracle and research, found Janine. My first session lasted close to three hours as she warmly and enthusiastically took the time to get to know my hair, my preferences and my fears all the while working her magic. As I sat under the dryer, she educated me about caring for my curls. My education didn’t stop there and neither did hers, which I greatly respect. It was the first time since childhood that I left the salon with my hair in all its curly glory instead of blown out. For the next three years, only Janine was allowed to come at my hair with scissors. And every time I walked out in love with my curls. At my last appointment Janine took the time to look up a Deva trained stylist in my new city. If you’re debating allow me to encourage you to book the appointment. You and your lovely curls won’t regret it.

OH, MY GOD! Where do I begin? Janine was absolutely amazing! I decided to write this review 1 month after my deva curl experience because I wanted to be completely and totally just as happy with my hair as I was when it was first done. What can I say? my style is amazing and curls are still so defined and healthy. Janine was very great at explaining the process and what every product would do for my hair. She never gave me a reason to question what she was doing and then end results again were just absolutely incredible. My experience didn't stop at the styling though she gave me great tips and tricks on how to keep my hair looking great and well hydrated for my next visit. She even gave me a list of all the products she used! I love her to pieces and I cannot wait to schedule my next appointment with her. $100 for everything she does is amazingly affordable. It's love for your hair curly hair something many curly girls don't get to have. I have been recommending her to friends, family, and every person with curly hair that I can talk to! GO SEE JANINE SHOW YOUR HAIR SOME LOVE!

I recently relocated to the Inland Empire and was stressed out because I didn't know what I was going to do about a hair stylist. I even thought that my only solution would be to fly back to San Francisco and get my Deva cuts there. HOWEVER, after a lot of researching and consultations with various Deva stylist throughout Southern California, I found THE DEVA stylist that I will NEVER leave. I could probably write a disseration on Janine but I won't. There are five things that make Janine special. Number 1, she is more than a Deva stylist but a true artist at heart. Living in San Francisco and New York I have found that the best hair stylist are artist and Janine has a sculpting background. She isn't afraid to give you a hair cut that you desire. If your vision doesn't make sense for your curly hair type she'll let you know and she'll give you an alternate solution which is just as amazing. The second thing that makes Janine so great to work with is her "bedside manner". She is genuine and sincere about her passion for cutting curly hair. She is spunky, fun, respectful, patient and supportive. As soon as you walk through her salon doors, she'll embrace you with a hug and say you must be my curly hair girl. LOVE that about her. Last but not least, Janine is SO AFFORDABLE, her prices are incredible. The are so reasonable I serious can get my hair cut up to three times a year and not break the bank. Currently she charges $100.00 for her curly girls...INCREDIBLE. Thank you, thank you, thank you Janine for such a beautiful experience. I am looking forward to my next cut with you soon.
