I’ve been fighting my curls my whole life, always trying to beat them into submission. When I moved to Florida a few years ago the battle intensified, but I finally realized I haven’t got a chance against Florida’s humidity. Rather than trying to tame my hair with flat irons & keratin treatments, I decided to just embrace my curls. In my search for someone local who specializes in curls, I discovered Janine. My appointment with her was incredible. She gave me a fantastic cut and spent lots of time showing me how to care for my hair properly so that it looks like actual lush, juicy curls instead of out-of-control frizz. When Janine was done working her magic, I couldn’t help crying – it looked AMAZING! I will never go back to my old hair-abusing ways – I’m a curly girl for life thanks to Janine!

Janine is no longer at the salon listed here: instead she is at SalonPLEX @ 1480 NE Pine Island Road in Cape Coral and I am so glad she is! I decided that I was not quite thrilled with the haircut I have been getting and thought I should search out someone new. So glad I did. She took one look at my cut and immediately knew where my last hairdresser had gone wrong. She is reshaping it for me now and it already looks better. I can't even imagine how great it is going to look when we get it grown out properly. I am already getting compliments on it!
