Edith worked magic on my hair and my curls are poppin! LOVE the environment and the care and time she took on my hair and I will definitely be back! My hair can be hard to manage but she took her time and did it with ease! The transformation is amazing and I love her patience and magic hands!

I had such a great time here at the Curls Rock Hair Studio. The staff was very welcoming and I had no problems there. I asked Edith if she could only trim the ends a little and that’s exactly what she did and the final result of the wash and styling left my curls super defined and shiny. I will be calling to make a future appointment with Edith so she can work her magic again.

I recently went for a cut at Curls Rock and was very disappointed in what happened. I always have Katrina Rodriguez cut my hair cut. When I called the other week to have a cut, I was told that she was no longer there and another stylist named Edith (who was supposedly taught by her and a master stylist) could cut my hair. I took a chance and holy crap was it a mistake. Frankly, she gives Deva cuts a bad name. I know that hair can’t be stuck back on, but my hair is uneven and looks terrible now and won’t look any better as it continues to grow out uneven. She left huge, long pieces of hair! They were all around my head. How could she not see that? When I emailed the salon to complain, I was offered another cut by a stylist who had more experience cutting “men’s short hair”. If she knew she couldn’t handle the cut, then she should have said so. Katrina has cut it short countless times and had no issue with it. If you’re a master stylist, then you should know how to cut hair - or be honest and say you can’t and recommend me to someone else who can. I will never go back. I was so upset by this that I reached out to Deva Curl corporate and they encouraged me to leave this review. I can only hope that others see these comments before they let Edith (or anyone else at that salon) cut their hair. I honestly wouldn’t use anyone there. I cannot trust that they quality staff. I wish I could post the pic I took of my messed up hair. I sent it the corporate, but can’t upload it here. Based on another review on here it looks like her leaving long pieces in people’s hair is an issue for her.
