I saw this woman in town with the most amazing curly hair and asked who did her hair. She told me to check out “ Bridget the Curl Whisperer “ located at David Velasco Salon! So, I came to this site to look at reviews and also discovered she has a FB page of her work! Needless to say, I made an appointment and saw Bridget. Yes, she is pretty amazing and so knowledgeable! I was very impressed. I had enjoyed my time getting my Deva cut and getting to know her and give Bridget 5 stars!

I have been stylist shy for my entire life. Every time I get my hair cut it shrinks up like crazy, looks incredibly short, has weird layers that just don’t work and just makes me frustrated and makes me just hate my curly hair. Out of my desperation, I started to research the curly girl method and Deva. After 6 months of debating, I decided to make an appointment with Bridget and give it a go. Bridget and I had a very long talk about my curls and my last experiences at length before even picking up her scizzors. She listened, she was empathetic and just really down to earth and super sweet. She took her time and cut each curl to make sure each one would lay in a desirable way. Just let me say, this has been the most amazing experience and haircut that I have ever had in my life! I actually started crying in the chair because I found someone who really listened to me and can really cut curly hair! I love my hair so much and now in love with my curls! It’s just amazing how a great cut can make someone feel and I feel amazing! I will be going back to Bridget for some hand painted highlights. A huge shout out to Bridget and I highly recommend her to anyone struggling with their curly hair and hairstylist fears! Thank you so much Bridget!!!

I’ve been to other curly stylists but haven’t found the right fit til I found Bridget. She’s phenomenal! She tought me some “ new tricks “ for my corkscrew curls and an amazing cut to boot! I have been getting compliments constantly and I highly recommend Bridget at Posh!
