I found Barbara Forgione Salon on Instagram when I was searching for a DevaCut specialist in Tampa. This was my first DevaCut and I was a little worried because lots of curly girls have stated that the first cut is never good but I was beyond ecstatic with my cut. Deborah did such an amazing job with my hair. Her fingers must be magic! She is super personable, knowledgeable about curly hair and so helpful in every step of the way. She talked through it all and didn't leave me wondering what she was doing. I really appreciate that kind of service. Some stylists will just start cutting and styling without letting you know what and why they're doing something. Deborah is very knowledgeable when it comes to the DevaCurl products. She knew exactly what was good for my hair type and recommended some products. I was already expecting to be pushed into buying products but they did not do that. She took me to the products to educate me on the products I should be using and what ingredients were in them and what I should not use. She even helped me to figure out the products and techniques I should use on my curly girl daughters who have different hair types than me. I can't say enough how amazing my experience was. Can't wait to go back. Deborah is my new BFF! :)

I found Nicole at Barbara Forgione Salon through this website and she did not disappoint! At the time I was new to the curly lifestyle and she not only gave me a gorgeous Devacut, but she educated me on the type of hair I have and what products work best for my hair and my lifestyle! Additionally, Nicole has made herself available to me via social media to answer any and all questions I have for her regarding styles, techniques, or products I am curious about. With Nicole's help and guidance, my dry weighed down waves have become defined, springy curls, and I could not be happier with her! I definitely have a curl specialist for life!

Just prior to the new year I booked an appointment for a deva cut with Nicole. It was a bit of spontaneous decision but I decided to go for it. I was ready for a change and knew I needed some shape/ had to get rid of the damaged ends. Other than that I was totally open to style and length! From the moment Nicole greeted me she was extremely friendly and warm! She made me feel incredibly comfortable and genuinely listened to me as I explained to her the struggles I'd had managing my curls. She was very knowledgeable and professional while also being extremely personable! She gave my hair The shaping it desperately needed and now I'm able to wear my hair down happily and have it look styled and polished! She also addressed all my questions about what hair products would work well for my hair. I can't say enough good things about my experience at the Barbara Forgione Salon and specifically with Nicole! I only wish I lived closer to Tampa and could make regular visits! I would definitely recommend seeing Nicole!
