autumn

It’s been 9 days since Autumn, at The Best LIttle Hairhouse, cut my curls and educated me about how I use conditioner and products. Each day my hair just gets better. I’ve been alternating no poo shampoo’s with co-washing. My hair is shiny (like never before), full, so very soft and the most amazing thing is it hardly tangles at all. I’m 58 years old and I never knew my hair could be this pretty. My daughter came in this evening and stopped mid-sentence to declare that my hair looked WONDERFUL. I made her feel it, then told her that every time I washed my hands at work today, and saw my reflection in the mirror, I meant to go back to my desk and send her a picture of my hair! Last, but certainly not least, after listening to me talk a little while, Autumn gave me the perfect hairstyle for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you Autumn! I’ll see you in March!

I forgot to mention that Autumn is now located in a small, new salon in Owasso called The Best Little Hairhouse. Great name, right?

I called Autumn just after 8 AM, January 2nd. Even on the phone, Autumn spoke in a way that assured me she truly understands and cares that curly hair needs to be treated differently than non-curly hair. (And that people with curls need to talk about them!). Two hours later she was listening to my hair concerns in her comfy salon. She thoroughly explained each thing she did and every product she used or even thought about using. She treated my fine, delicate curls with gentleness. I left with well shaped curls and due to the fabulous moisturizing treatment, my hair feels incredibly soft and hydrated. The thing that will bring me back is her demonstrated knowledge of how to manage and handle curly hair.

I have difficult hair to cut. Curly, wavy, and some stick straight, and multiple cow licks. Autumn did an amazing job!
