Ann did a good job with my hair. She seemed to have a good understanding of curly hair and what it needs and the cut she gave me was exactly what I was looking for, though maybe a bit too short (though this is the first real haircut I've had since before COVID, so my ends were a mess). I was really happy with my hair as soon as it was finished drying, but then she kept fussing with it and trimming it in various places and I feel like she made it a bit frizzy unnecessarily. I'd probably go back though

I booked an appointment with Ann as another review suggested her. She is a quiet, nice, Chinese lady, with five years hair dressing experience. I am biracial and have curly hair. Ann did not seem confident trimming my hair, she moved slowly, and like she hadn't worked with hair like kind before. Instead of trimming two inches off she took four off- which if you have curly hair is a big deal- because it feels like it takes forever to grow back! She washed it, scrunched it with a towel, loaded it up with Deva Curl product, and put me under a big diffuser to dry my hair... After using the diffuser attachment I explained that i am use to my hair air drying and that it would take a long time to diffuse it dry. It doesn't look bad, but it's not what I asked for or expected. I honestly expected better from someone who has diva curl experience, and claims to give deva curl cuts daily.
