Just don’t. It took me over a year to write this review. I went to Anastasia for a trim and highlights. She completely messed up the color and had to fix it during a later visit. It still wasn’t what I wanted. The trim became a hack; she took off more than six inches. I’m still trying to get my hair to grow back. The icing? I paid her and still tipped her 25% because of her time (and maybe my own guilt). She had the nerve to text me later that evening and tell me that I didn’t pay her enough. I know I didn’t owe her more because I repeated the amount to her before I used Chase Quick Pay (she “couldn’t” take a credit card that day). I was charged extra for a color she messed up and a so-called devacut that I didn’t ask for. For the sake of your hair and to preserve the Deva name, don’t do this to yourself. Find a Deva stylist who uses the products, knows how to use the products, listens to you, and doesn’t take advantage. I wish there were more Deva stylists in this city.

Met Anastasia two years ago (I found her on this website). Over the last two years, she's cared for my hair and helped me develop a strong routine. I even asked her to do my wedding hair- which was exactly what I wanted. She friendly and knows curly girls. If you're a woman of color, I would especially recommend her.

It took me so long to find a hairstylist that specialized in curly hair that I trusted with my strands. Finding Anastasia has been the best thing that could have happened to my hair. From the amazing cut, to the tutorial and explanation of products, my hair has look the best it has ever looked! She is amazing, and you definitely won't regret paying her a visit.

Anastasia now has her own shop called Baby Bangz Natural Hair Salon in New Orleans. The shop is vibrant, intimate, and has great vibes. I have been looking to cut my heat damage off for some months now and I was nervous and excited. Anastasia was willing to help me in whatever way I needed. I trusted her expertise so I was completely at ease when she got to cutting. I came in with a style I wanted and she delivered!! Anastasia is great because she gets that you're nervous so she walks you through everything. From why you need your hair cut, the consequences if you don't, products to use, the whole nine yards. Y'all, when I tell you I have never been so happy with my hair! And it's all thanks to Anastasia. She didn't cut anymore than what I was comfortable with and set my hair up for future success in regards to health.
