I hate leaving this review because Shandi was very nice. But she should not be doing DevaCuts without more training and experience. I’ve had 3 DevaCuts in the past that I loved so I know it is not displeasure with the particular style of cut. One side was CLEARLY longer than the other. I pointed it out after she was done so she haphazardly picked up a chunk of hair on the long side and cut it. It helped but I was still not happy. I expressed that I would like to style it differently and wasn’t happy with it but she made no further attempts to get my hair to a place I would feel good. I ended up going home a cutting INCHES off in some places to even it out. When I texted my displeasure she said “diva cuts” aren’t for everyone. She did offer to try to fix it and did gave me my money back as I requested so I could have it remedied elsewhere. I just don’t want others to get a bad “diva cut” and not realize that a great DevaCut from someone else could be game changing for their curls.
