She did a great job, talked me through the whole process and took her time to make sure it came out the way I wanted. I’m in love with the way my hair came out, highly recommend :)

I live in Hawaii where there are no Deva trained stylists that I’ve been able to find. For years I went twice a year to a wonderful Deva trained stylist in Ohio when I visited my family. When circumstances changed and I no longer went to Cleveland, I had to find an alternative. I tried a couple of people in Hawaii who said they knew how to cut curly hair like mine, but it just didn’t work out. When I was in the DC area recently and really needed a haircut, I found Tina. She was available, not overpriced, and very helpful. I was grateful she was able to fit me in and to help tame my mop. Now if I could only find someone closer to home! Please train someone, Deva!!!

I’ve had a lot of trouble with my hair my whole life. At times my mom would shave it telling me my cowlicks we’re out of control. Other times she permed it. I often times rocked a permed mullet. 40 years later and I say in Tina’s chair to get a haircut and what i recieved was an eye awakening experience. Tina not only have me a great cut while my hair was dry and showing what i thought was craziness; Tina showed me how to nurture my hair while using products that wouldn’t hurt my hair. Thank you Tina. I love my hair. And my mom can’t believe it’s so curly.
