Jeff is the real deal! I was pleasantly relieved after my initial consultation . Jeff really knows everything there is to know about curly hair. His training and understanding is on another level. I am receiving tons of compliments from strangers. I left Jeff’s chair with a better understanding on how to care and style my hair going forward. He did not push any products only recommended types of products that are good choices for my curl type. Jeff did keep the long length while working his magic. I would only go to him for my next appointment.

Jeff is a curl expert! I now have a different outlook on my hair routine. He didn't push any products, only explained what types of products that I should look for based on my hair texture. My hair is very long so my concern was keeping the length. He kept the length and gave me a flattering haircut. He educated me on how to use products which has transformed my hair's health. What a difference! I receive so many compliments from strangers do to how healthy my hair appears. I am so happy that that I didn't accept an immediate appointment from a different less experienced stylist. The wait paid off and I will only go to Jeff going forward, no other salon.

I started the curly girl method a few weeks ago, and thought a curly cut would really help me out, so I got my first ever curly cut from Jeff. The cut itself is awesome and my curls already look better, and I would definitely return to him because he clearly knows what he's doing in terms of skill and cutting technique. He also used DevaCurl products as well as other brands which I appreciated, because it didn't feel like he was trying to sell me a brand. However, it seemed to almost bother him that I knew some of the things he was trying to teach me from my own research, and I kind of felt like he was trying to defend himself and his knowledge on curly hair when I questioned something he was doing, or mentioned (curly girl approved) products/techniques that I had heard about and started using myself. I would definitely recommend Jeff for his curly hair skills, but only if you can deal with his slightly big and fragile ego for an hour and a half. Ideally I'd love to find a hairdresser with Jeff's talent and skills, who also had the knowledge of dealing with their own curly hair everyday.
