I was so hesitant going to see Britni because 1) this was my first devacut & 2) my best friend from college has been my hair stylist for the past 11 years! It is always scary looking for a new stylist, but even more so when you've had a couple bad experiences before. That said...I am SO glad I found Britni!!! She immediately put me at ease the moment I sat down in her chair. I unofficially started the Curly Girl Method back in August & by the end of November, I was ready to go full CG, starting w/ a devacut. She started by asking me about my CG history to get an understanding of my hair, then she detailed what her plan was for cutting & coloring my hair that day. I definitely appreciated her explaining the process because I'm always curious when I'm in the chair, whether it's at a salon or in my living room. She cut my hair dry & cut each section of curls separately. She then colored my hair & styled it at the end. Britni was very knowledgable of CG methods & she was very friendly! I have been looking for someone to cut my boyfriend's curly hair as well, so I have encouraged him to schedule with Britni. I am so glad to have found a KC stylist & one who didn't butcher my hair!! I highly recommend Britni!
