My daughter has amazing curls but we just hadn't found the right fit. Not only has Melissa transformed her curls and made them even more beautiful and healthy she has been wonderful towards my daughter every step of the way making sure her 10 year old voice is heard loud and clear. I couldn't have asked for a better stylist. She takes her time to fully understand where you are looking to take your hair and wants to be the copilot on your curly hair journey.

I’ve been seeing Melissa exclusively for a few years and I will not let anyone else touch my hair! I live near Bay City, MI and drive 1.5 hrs to Ann Arbor just to go to her because she is THAT good! My curls are always fresh and full after a visit and she recommends the best products depending on the look you are going for, occasion, level of maintenance you are willing to put in, and weather conditions. I have thinner curly hair and she is a miracle-worker with getting the cut just right for the volume I want. She really listens to you and what your particular needs are. She’s also a superstar with the color! I like fun, bold colors and enjoy experimenting with different looks. Before Melissa, I was hesitant to go for the more out there colors, as I was never sure it would turn out the way I imagined, but now, my hair is always amazing, I get a lot of compliments and most importantly, I am confident that no matter what the newest experiment with color 🌈 we do, my hair will remain in a healthy state. She’s excellent about making sure that color treated hair is taken care of, and she takes the time to educate you on how best to take care of the look. Brighter colors don’t tend to last long in general when I’ve gotten them done, but with her skill, my colors stay in for ages!! Salon Sanjoy is one of the best, so glad I found them and Melissa!!!

Melissa is phenomenal! She has done two Devacuts on me so far, both of them as big chips. I come in with a handful of pictures and an image in my mind and she's nailed it both times! Highly recommend!
