I’ve had plenty of DevaCuts before and tried this salon because it was close to my house. In my previous DevaCut experiences, it was usually like a 90 minute session with the stylist taking her time to not only do the cut, but also to discuss current products and strategies. At this salon however, it was clear they wanted to finish my hair quickly. I was told on the phone it would be $120 for a 90 minute session and I was there for 45 minutes. No real consultation and the stylist passed me off to a shampooer who definitely didn’t apply the DevaCurl products the way I was used to. I’ve never had my hair combed before and they did that. And they finished my hair with some non-Deva product. My hair looked pretty ghastly when I left the salon. Regarding the cut, it was fast... possibly too fast? I don’t feel like the stylist really took her time the way I am used to. I would suggest to steer clear of this place.
