I had been reading a lot of Curly Girl stuff on the Internet, and I finally decided to book a DevaCut with Cindy. The cut was subtle, but enhanced my waves. More than anything I loved the lesson that comes with the service. This was the very first time in my life someone who knew what she was doing showed me how to do my hair —what to use, how much to use, how often to use, and how to apply. The lesson Cindy gave was customized to my specific hair and wave/curl pattern, and she even gave me a printed copy of directions to recreate the look at home. I was grateful for this because it can be tough to remember the details and order. Cindy welcomed all my curly hair questions during the lesson and even after via text. She’s very organized and a true professional with years of experience specializing in curly hair. I’m so lucky to have met her. I finally feel confident about my hair when it’s curly, and my flat iron is actually getting dusty from lack of use. Thanks to Cindy, I’m learning to actually love my hair.
