My curls have become very happy after 1 year of the curly girl method, however I had not received a curly hair-specific cut until I met with Amanda. I thought I understood a lot about my hair but Amanda taught me so much about product application and wash-day rituals that have dramatically improved the longevity of styling. I just went and got my first Deva cut today and was so nervous; however, the second I sat down Amanda made me feel comfortable and took her time explaining everything to me. She didn’t make me feel silly for the 1,429 questions that I was asking but was patient and walked me through every thing she was doing. I got a great hair cut AND I learned so much about my hair. I walked in overwhelmed and walked out feeling confident that I could embrace the curly girl method. Thank you Amanda!

Amanda took lots of time to teach me how to care for my curls and how to fix problems that I had been having with my hair (i.e. hair loss, extreme dryness, heavy hair). She cut my hair so that I had more volume on top and she showed me products that make my curls bounce and shine! She charged a reasonable price for the transformational DevaCut (it includes the cut, teaching session, style and a starter kit). The kit that contained products that helped me get started. I honestly feel that the price for the DevaCut itself (without the teaching and starter kit) is completely reasonable because curly girls only need to get our hair cut about 4 times a year. I feel so beautiful now because my curls are so lively and vibrant! I live in Jacksonville, Arkansas, and the drive to Benton, Arkansas, was WORTH IT!!! No one else will ever touch my hair again! My daughter loves my hair so much that she wants to get a transformational DevaCut, too! <3
