Jasmine is fun to spend time with and listened to what I needed with my cut. However, she did some things to my hair that actually made my curls look worse than usual: she ran her hands through my curls a lot, which separated them and made them more stringy than curly. Maybe this is a matter of preference, but I've been to a Deva stylist before who never did this after washing my curls. Also, I feel like the cut was not very thorough, she didn't take as much time on me as I would've expected from what I was charged! Dre's website advertised her women's cuts as $65 but I was charged $85 and that didn't include a tip! Lastly, I have small stringy pieces that are longer than the rest of the cut (not noticable when I wear my hair curly but beware if I ever want to straighten!). I know Deva cuts are different in that they target specific curls when cutting so there isn't neat layering, but the many Deva cuts I've had in the past were thorough enough that they still laid nicely when straightened. And yes, I did mention to her that I like to straighten my hair about twice a month for variety. I loved the salon atmosphere and Jasmine is a great person to get to know, but if I were to do it again, I would look elsewhere to spend ~$100!

Jasmine is awesome! She is so patient, explained every step the first time. When i saw her again she touched up on any questions I had about the product and did an amazing job on my hair. I have ha zero bad hair days since my first trip to get my Devacurl cut

I choose Jasmine as my first Deva Curl hairstylist based on the review by Hollidayaz. I have been using Deva Curl products for over two years but never had the cut or a thorough explanation of the best use of the products. Jasmine spent time explaining my curl and how to enhance them. My curly girl cousin came with me and watched the whole process and made an appointment before we left. Jasmine is competent, personable and charming and I would recommend her to care for your curls.

My hair was a complete fine/thin/stringy looking MESS! Also letting my gray grow out (no color in 8 mos), and hadn't been cut for probably a year. Had my Deva Curl cut & style done by Jasmine today and absolutely LOVE IT!!!! Jasmine is amazing. She thoroughly explains everything as she does it and even stayed late after her shift ended for my appointment (I called for the appointment less than 24 hrs prior). Thank you Deva Curl & Jasmine.
