I love Kalanit! I have never had a hair stylist who has understood my hair as well Kalanit. I have wavy/curly hair that no one typically knows how to handle. When I don't know what I want, she cuts my hair to complement my face shape and get the most out of my curls. More recently, I asked her to give me a curly shag with bangs and I've never been more in love with a hair. She took a look at my reference photos and adjusted it to work with my hair. I can't emphasize enough how much I love this haircut. Besides giving me the best haircuts of my life, she does take the time to teach/remind me the best way to style my hair at home to keep my curls looking happy and frizz free. So I’ve been getting curly cuts for almost 5 years. I moved to the Philly area over the summer and was in desperate need of a haircut. As a curly girl I am very cautious of who I let cut my hair. I had one bad experience, and now I always make sure to do my research before going to someone new. I decided to use this stylist finder to narrow down my search. I saw a lot of great reviews about not only Capelli, but also Kalanit. After seeing her pictures of her work on IG I decided to take the risk and make an appointment. And I was not disappointed!! Kalanit is amazing and I recommend anyone who has curly hair to see her! She takes her time to understand your hair and what it needs. I have really dry hair and even with all my years of dealing with it, I still had so many questions. Kalanit answered all of my concerns and gave me advice on how to really care for my hair. She went through each step, making sure I really understood. After she cut my hair, I was in love! My curls were refreshed and so defined. I have gotten so many haircuts where I leave the salon with frizzy hair that I have to fix myself. But when I left Capelli and my curls stayed defined for almost 3 days! I actually went back again for her to color and layer my hair. The first time I went was in July and I got my second cut in December. I could of went longer, but I wanted to get highlights. Which I was also really nervous about. But Kalanit took the time to listen to what I wanted, and my vision I had for my hair. She did an amazing job, and my hair still felt so soft. Since it was my first time coloring my hair I realized what I asked for was too light and I was not ready for it. I asked Kalanit if she could go darker and she was more than happy to fix my hair. Both times my hair turned out so beautiful, and I’m so lucky to have found a hair stylist that really cares! All I can say is I trust Kalanit to cut my hair as short as she sees fit. And that’s saying a lot from someone who loves her curly hair long.

I went to Kalanit after not being in a salon for a year and a half due to a negative experience. Kalanit was a great listener and knew exactly what to ask to understand what I was looking for. She visualized perfectly how to cut my hair into a shape that complimented me. She was thorough and did an excellent job. For the first time in a very long time, I love my hair! I highly recommend Kalanit.
