My children bought me a gift card for my birthday. They paid for and I asked for a Devacut with Treatment. When i made the appt I asked if there was someone at that location who could do a Devacut. "Yes"! was the reply. I did NOT get a Devacut. What i got was a very expensive regular cut. Devacuts are dry cuts with each lock of curl individually cut a specific way according to the curl so that it lays nice. With the exception of a few snips of the ends of hair at the nape of my neck, my hair was cut wet after it was shampoo'd and conditioned. That is a regular cut. If your stylists do not know how to do Devacuts, they should not say they can. I am disappointed and my children feel like they've been ripped off. The stylist was very pleasant and sweet, and gave me a great massage when she no poo'd & conditioned my hair. I wish I would have questioned what she was doing at the time, but i wasn't sure. Upon talking with my daughter and after i Googled it when i got home i found out we paid $60 for a $30 hair cut!
