I absolutely love James. He's so easy to talk to and be open with. My hair is always fab and he is equally informative. He's not a salesman but an educator. I drive 4 hours to get to him and it is definitely worth the distance and infamous Atl traffic. He Sean are totally awesome !

My hair is pretty healthy and I just needed to round it out and Zee was able to do that perfectly. She was very knowledgeable and so kind to me the entire time, she didn't do anything without letting me know what exactly she was doing and why. She also gave me a lot of tips so that I would be able to replicate her styling at home, which was invaluable to me. I am very glad I found Zee.

Jennifer was absolutely amazing! She was kind, sweet, and helpful to me and my mom! It was a mother/daughter day and we both got our hair cut by a curly hair professional. The salon was clean and there was very light pop music playing in the background. The experience with Jennifer is worth 1,000 stars! My mom and I already know that we'll be back and next time we'll bring my two older sisters. For more detail, keep reading and I'll walk through the appointment. Every new client has to get the full treatment, subsequent appointments don't have to be as long as this one. 1. We walked through the door to the Salon building about 5 minutes before the appointment and Jennifer was waiting by her salon's doorframe for us. 2. She explained how the process worked and started with my hair. I have 4b/4c, chin length, thick hair. My mom has 4c, ear length, thin hair. We came in with our hair washed, detangled, and every curl as defined as we could get it. 3. Jennifer shook my hair a bit to lift and loosen the curls and asked how I wear my hair and how I take care of it. I told her I'm a college student and I wash it, toss in a leave in, and go. 4. After discussing what I wanted from my haircut, she slowly and meticulously cut each curl individually to ensure that I kept my length but lost the knots. 5. After double checking the intro shape and explaining why the shape worked, she led me to the wash bowl (which was the MOST comfortable wash bowl I've ever had to sit at) and washed my hair using the Deva Curl No-poo Decadence. 6. After washing my hair she took my to the steamer where I sat for 30-45 minutes while my hair was steamed. Every time I was sitting under anything hot she would offer water which was WONDERFUL. 7. While I was being steamed she did my mom's hair and my mom went under the steamer when mine ended. 8. I went back to the bowl where she rinsed out all the build up I had in my hair that was bought out by the steam. 9. After rinsing, she began the "get out the curl process" and added a Design Essentials leave in conditioner and two AsIAm products. She showed me how much she had to use for my hair and explained why. She also explained what products work best for my hair and how I should be applying those products. 10. After my hair was fully saturated, detangled, and shaken out, I went under the hood dryer to let so the product dry and absorb. 11. I have long and thick hair so after almost two hours, my hair was still half wet. Since we came from it of state and had to drive back, Jennifer diffused my ends so that she could to the final cut and shape without risking cutting off too many inches. 12. She told my to let my roots dry on their own to prevent frizz. 13. The final look is BEAUTIFUL. It was the first time I had seen my natural curls hang so beautifully. My mom was completely satisfied with my hair and hers. 14. The cost was straightforward. The website said $100 per person and the total was exactly $200* (*May 2019). The kindness, the true care, the great conversation, and the IRREVOCABLE final result is worth every single penny. I highly, highly recommend Curl Envy salon in Sandy Springs, GA.
