Yanisel was absolutely amazing! From start to finish she knew exactly what she was doing and what I wanted. She kept me in the loop through every step of the process. It was reassuring when she talked to me about my cut and I learned so much from the styling. She definitely helped me learn about my hair and now I can style it better because of her. She helped my confidence a lot. I'm going back for sure!

I have been dying to have a wild layered look for a long time, so I figured this would be the best place for a curly girl like me to get it. Unfortunately things did not go as planned. I did like my cut, but it was not what I asked. Instead of keeping my length and adding lots of layers, the stylist cut several inches (more than I wanted) and was very conservative with the layers. Super disappointing. The service in general was good and the staff were pleasant. My stylist was not very attentive, kept bouncing me from one assistant to the other and spent little time with me. She also offered me a mimosa and never brought it. The assistants were great though! Overall I appreciated the effort and can see that the staff is dedicated, but my expectations were not met. I won’t be returning.

I was a bit disappointed in my experience at the salon. I had gone a while back with a friend while she did her cut and we had a great time so it was a dream of mine to go back to do my own cut. However, when I got there, the stylist was not very friendly and I felt as though I couldn't talk to her very much. She asked me a ton of questions, that I frankly did not know the answers for and I asked her for guidance. She did not help whatsoever, even though I kept asking her what she would recommend. I ended up choosing something that I was unsure about because I felt bad to make her wait. My cut was alright, I liked that my curls were defined but I wished I could have been a to have more volume in my hair, something that was a bit my fault because she did ask how much volume and I did not know what to say to her. Last thing, they were having a sale for black Friday, if you called the store they would give you 50% your purchase for next time. I probably called about 5-6 times that day and no one ever answered the phone. Ridiculous, a business should answer their phone no more then after 3 rings! I'm definitely put off deva cuts for a bit. If I do get one however, I'd rather drive all the way to Davie. I gave 3 stars because the cut was still not bad but I just wish my experience would have been better.
