My hair journey seems like a rollercoaster sometimes and before I went to Melanie, I was ready to throw in the towel and just give up on trying. After finding Melanie through this site, the reviews motivated me to make an appointment as it seemed like she helped others understand their curls. When I met Melanie, I just poured all my frustrations out and was looking for a miracle. Even though I felt like I was acting like I was sitting in a therapist's chair trying to find the answers to what my hair wants/needs, Melanie was very pleasant and really approachable. She answered all my questions and provided the advice I was looking for. Not only that, but her cut and style was fab! With every cut and product she was using, she was explaining why it would benefit my curls. I've never had someone take the time to show me how to understand my curls. Even though I haven't recreated how great I looked when I walked out of the salon, it refreshed my motivation to give my hair the TLC it needs and boosted my confidence like crazy! This is the first time I have walked out of a salon knowing I got a real professional that understands how to treat curly hair. This will not be the last time I see Melanie, she is definitely a keeper!
