I was hesitant about going natural. I didn’t know what to expect. This is my third cut with Vianney. She is an experienced stylist who is extremely knowledgeable. I liked how she took the time to ask questions regarding my hair care and hairstyle goals. Vianney recommended product and even let me take the product home to try before I purchased. Overall Vianney has a pleasant personality. This is my third Deva Cut and I couldn’t be happier!

I had to cancel my appointment due to traffic. I let Vianney know about the problem and we agreed to reschedule. Vianney had appointment open for the following day(my birthday) and on text I specifically asked if I was going to be an charged extra deposit and she said no. So I went to my new appointment the following day. Vianney had another client and was flipping back and forth from us. To keep in mind she’s charging me per hour. She cut my hair and washed it, during the wash Vianney didn’t explain the products and put them in my hair . She applied and large amount of gel and ONLY gel on my hair and suck me under the hooded dryer while she was working on her other client. After being under the drier for +30mins my hair felt extremely crunchy. I walked to the chair and looked at my self and was shocked my hair has never looked so bad. The hair I walked in was better. I still had hope and let her continue. The top portion of my head has a couple of dead pieces that I was aware of but they looked completely dry and straight due to all the gel that was on them. She had no idea what to do with my hair and asked me (the nonprofessional) how to style my hair. Vianney wanted to curl my hair........and going natural heat was not something I wanted to use. She continued to cut my hair after. I saw my hair in the minor and knew I was going to wash my hair straight when I got home. When she was done she told me my total I was shocked on the price and complained to her and even showed her the message. In my opinion it is not right to take so much money from a high school student that has been saving for this cut. She Over charged for the time due to the other client as well as the deposit she specifically said she wasn’t going to charge because I have already paid for it. Overall my experience was expensive and terrible. I walked out very unhappy with my messed up hair on my birthday. Vianney seemed to have lack education/ experience with curly hair. I would not go back or recommend.
