Scott is a joy to see. I have very curly hair (think 3C/4A) and he knows everything about it. He is always happy to educate me on new products and styling techniques, and never makes me feel like he's rushing through the answers he's giving me. All that, plus the fact that he's a genius at what he does. I'm so grateful I found him. I don't trust anyone else with my curls. <3

Let me first begin by saying Scott is really nice and he makes you feel welcomed into his salon. This was my first devacut and I really like it. However, Scott was running behind with me so I felt like he rushed with my hair because his next client was soon to come in. I thought I was getting pintura highlights but instead I received random highlights on the top of my head and in my bang area. Some were thicker streaks then others. I have ethnic VIRGIN curly hair which requires a lot more care and moisture due to also living in Arizonas dry heat. However, Scott used the low poo devacurl shampoo which not meant for my hair type which dried my hair out. He then began to aggressively brush through my hair while it was wet then sat me under a dryer that was way too hot to where I turned flush while he began on his next client. When I left the salon I had to go to the store to buy a blue shampoo to help with these orange highlights I had in my hair. My hair now, 3 weeks later is still really dry, stiff, and will not coil up how it did before. I like Scott but driving 3 hours and getting what I received for the amount I paid is not okay. I am now going to receive an olaplex treatment soon and then schedule a consultation with someone in my city to dye my hair back to brown.
