"The Ultra Defining Gel is pure liquid, not a gel. Is this how you are manufacturing it? I have used Deva Products since 2003. Went into NYC until the pandemic to get my hair cut and colored. Tried another brand the last 2 yrs but prefer Deva. Wondering about this consistency of the defining gel."

"I have been a DevaCurl fan for years now and it truly is my favorite brand for curly girl products. This gel is amazing, the ingredients are also great which is a bonus. I love how my hair holds its curls for days and scrunching out the crunch is super satisfying. The end result is always super defined, well held curls with tons of bounce. When I dont have time to diffuse, I air dry and the curls still look amazing! It also helps keeps frizz away. I would definitely recommend this gel!"

"I am impressed with the ultra defining gel. I love that it is lightweight making it easily to apply throughout the hair. It has a nice scent to it. I love the texture, it’s surprisingly not sticky like most gels. I like the hold it gives my curls. It does a good job at really defining my curls. I like to let it air dry and loved the results I got with it. Will definitely be apart of my curl routine. I received this item in exchange for my honest review."
