I get buildup such that when I run my nails over my scalp some “stuff” comes off, even when it is freshly cleaned a bit but more the day after - even when my hair isn’t at all oily. I’ve tried several other products over the years, including corn starch, but nothing worked. This is the only one that worked and it works BEAUTIFULLY."
"I think this product is definitely working well, but I am going to start focusing only on my scalp, as it seems to be extremely drying on my curls. I have tried others recommendations of using my normal shampoo after (Curlbond), but I haven't found that "happy place" yet. It definitely has taken away that product buildup itch though."

It used to be a serumlike texture and clarified my hair amazingly without stripping. My curls loved it. Now it lathers a bit and is not as serumlike. I miss the old formula."

After about a few days of using it, I noticed my hair was starting to fall out and shed more than usual … and I mean a LOT of hair. I ended up throwing the remainder of it away and will never use this again. "I have an oily scalp. I only wash my hair a couple times a week and get an itchy scalp from the old oil building up and solidifying. This clears it out well. The only thing I don't care for is how much I have to scrub in and scrub out, because my arms/hands get tired. Definitely use it with conditioner at least every other time you use it."
