Yes, Please!

I was at the time (March 27th) about 3 months into my no-poo/Curly Girl routine without a proper cut for my curls. We were in the area on spring break and I had specifically found Kayley via the website because I wanted a professional to cut my new found curls. I went in not knowing how things would go down, but walked out lighter and curlier than ever before. I was also able to purchase several DevaCurl products. Not having a curly salon near me, I can't wait to get back in and get a refresh! Thanks x1,000,000!

I knew it ~

I've gone to Kayley 2 times before and she was always super knowledgeable and listened to what I wanted. The 3rd time not so much....she sent a "text" stating that I had a "partial highlight appt" and when I tried to text that I needed (WANTED) a full-on color, that wasn't possible. When I got to the salon, I informed her of this. I don't ask too many questions because she's the professional, but she asked what I was thinking, I told her I liked the length but needed color. I again mentioned the text and stated that I was under the impression that my highlights were every other visit, she agreed. I informed her that I was thinking about bangs and that my hair is growing OUT instead of down and she mentioned a 'Diva cut' and TRIMMED a few places in my car She then informed me that she would give me a cut after my hair completely dried. So she colored my roots then placed me under the dryer. I was thinking, "maybe she's going to color all of it after the roots are dry"... she took me to the sink, washed my hair then put product in it, sat me up under the dryer once more and 'scrunched" my hair. She kept repeating that she's meeting someone and she couldn't stay late.... I felt "pushed" out the door and now I'm stuck with the same dull hair that I walked in with, but shiny roots. When I saw that she was busy when I very first walked in, I should have just rescheduled for a more convenient time. I don't get my hair done by professionals but my husband insists on "self care". I should have just followed my instinct and went back to work where I was needed. I'm just super disappointed.

NO THANKS

Unprofessional from the moment I walked through the door. Wasn't ready for me when I arrived, on her phone and complaining a lot about her personal life. Didn't have the products she normally would use on my hair. I assumed all DevaCuts would be amazing since they all go through the same course. When I didn't like it I was so shocked I didn't know what to say so I said nothing. I thought if I styled it at home it would be better but it just got worse and even heavier on the bottom. When I called and asked for a refund, she says she doesn't offer that but would fix my hair. For a $65 cut I shouldn't have to tell her how to cut my hair, nor do I trust her to fix it! No thanks!
