I tend to get my long curly locks seen to only twice a year, so having my hair cut is an occasion for me and Laura ticks all the right boxes - a beautiful cut from a beautiful person (and what fabulous conversations we have!). It's only in recent years that I have come to learn about the art of cutting curls and oh my! what an incredible difference it makes. My curls are more defined and keep their shape really well in between cuts. It's different having your hair cut when it's dry, but that means Laura can really see the shapes of your natural curl and know how to style them best. And you still get the pampering hair wash and a heavenly scalp massage after the cut. My hair feels and looks great. Highly recommended!

First...always first..... is the introduction: I was welcomed in the warmest of ways...made to feel comfortable right off the hop. Laura has a very warm aura, and amazing curly hair ! This gave me both comfort and confidence. Her aura delivered the comfort and her curls gave me the confidence that she struggles with what so many of us - with varying degrees of curl- do. So, I was easily able to share with her what I was hoping for with my hair - possible or not - and just let her 'fly at it'. Most noticeable was her intense attention to her craft while, at the same time, checking in with me frequently and involving me in the process. I can't recommend her highly enough. I left the salon feeling on the top of the world, smiling inside and out. This is quite the endorsement given that I walked out of the salon into blazing rain and wind with my new "do" to walk the 15 minutes home .....and I never stopped smiling the whole way ! Laura was great to meet, she understood my hair, explained things to me I didn't know, and walked me through the plan for my cut and how we can reach my hair goals. Then she proceeded to give me an amazing/relaxing time at the salon, she's really easy to chat to. Plus my cut itself was amazing! So happy I went to her.
