There are not a lot of places that really know how to do a Devacurl hair cut where I live, so when I went to Barrie to visit my family I jumped on trying to find a place for Devacut. To say I was let down by Curls by Nadine is a bit of an understatement. All seemed good until she dried my hair with such a hot frying hood dryer. This is not something I was used to as I had always been told not to use heat. I follow the curly girl method. Maybe others who do not follow the Lorraine Massey methods will be happy here but I will not come back to have my hair suffer from build up and to be fried away under a dryer. and ps this stylist does not even have curly hair, how can she try to make girls accept their natural beauty?

Nadine has been my stylist exclusively for several years now. She is nothing short of fabulous and I trust her implicitly with my hair. As every curly haired gal knows, when you find a stylist who understands your hair and your “asks” you hold on!!! Nadine is a well organized, efficient and very talented stylist. She is warm, kind and just an all around wonderful human being to be around. Congratulations on your success, Nadine! You deserve it!

I’ve had at least 2 dozen Deva cuts since around 2014. Mostly in the very pricey Washington DC or West Palm Beach Florida areas. I don’t go cheap on my very curly, red hair. I public speak and have social media scrutiny. Nadine is on par with stylists that charge $150+ in metropolitan areas for this cut. Love her work!

I have been going to see Nadine for YEARS and have never left her salon feeling anything but happy! Whether she was in a "corporate" salon or working out of her home-based salon, I was always treated as the top priority; from being offered a drink to reading material. I even had a say in the music she was playing. The home-based salon (my most recent visit) was very clean, had a calm vibe to it, and chic. I enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and treat that time as ME time since my work life is very hectic/stressful. Love that she uses a diffuser and was polite enough to make sure I was okay with the scent. I\'m really not sure what people are complaining about. I\'ve had colours, high-lights, low-lights, trims, to fully creating a new style. Did I forget to mention that I would drive over 2 hours one-way to see her? That\'s right - I didn\'t complain that she was too far away. Why? Because I have had enough horrible hack jobs and colour mess-ups trusting other people, that she was TOTALLY worth it! I\'ve since moved out of province and guess what....won\'t let anyone else touch my hair. I am waiting until I come back for a visit to make an appointment with her. Thank you Nadine, for being someone I can trust to do my hair and give me a great experience at the same time.
